Terms of service

1. About the service and these terms

OffertEase ("we", "us" or "the service") is a web-based SaaS service for creating, sending and managing quotes and invoices. The service is aimed at sole traders, freelancers and small businesses ("you" or "the user").

By registering an account you accept these terms in full. If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind the company.

2. Account and security

• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access: contact@offertease.com.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that are misused or violate these terms.

3. Subscription plans and pricing

Free plan – no charge, includes:

• Max 3 sent documents (quotes + invoices) per calendar month.
• 1 document template.
• OffertEase logo in the footer of generated PDF documents.

Pro plan – 149 SEK/month or 1,190 SEK/year (approx. 20% discount), includes:

• Unlimited documents and templates.
• Your own brand – no OffertEase footer in PDF.
• CSV export of all data.
• Priority email support.

All prices are exclusive of VAT. VAT is added according to applicable rules (25% for Swedish customers). Prices may change; see section 10.

4. Trial period

New accounts automatically receive a 14-day free Pro trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. When the trial expires, the account reverts to the Free plan unless a subscription is taken out.

5. Payment and invoicing

• Payment is handled by Stripe. We do not store card details.
• Monthly subscriptions are charged in advance each month.
• Annual subscriptions are charged in full at sign-up and renew automatically.
• If payment fails, Pro features are paused and the account reverts to the Free plan.
• Invoices for your subscription are available in the Stripe Customer Portal via Settings → Billing.

6. Withdrawal and refunds

OffertEase is aimed at business users. Consumer protection laws and withdrawal rights therefore do not normally apply.

If you have been charged by mistake or if the service has not worked as promised, contact us at contact@offertease.com within 14 days of the charge and we will assess each case individually.

7. Cancellation and downgrade

• You can cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Billing.
• Upon cancellation you retain Pro features until the end of the current period — no refund is given for the remaining period.
• After the period ends your account moves to the Free plan. Your data (quotes, invoices, customers) is not deleted.
• You can delete your account entirely under Settings → My data. Accounting documentation is anonymised but retained for 7 years under the Bookkeeping Act.

8. Your content and your responsibility

• You own all content you create in the service (quotes, invoices, customer data).
• You are responsible for ensuring that the data you enter (prices, VAT, invoice numbers) is correct and meets applicable legal requirements.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the invoice content meets the requirements of VAT law and the Bookkeeping Act.
• We give you tools, but we are not your accountant or legal adviser.
• It is prohibited to use the service for illegal purposes, spam or fraud.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but provide no uptime guarantees (SLA). We reserve the right to perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not responsible for outages caused by third-party services (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe) or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Changes to terms and pricing

We may update these terms or prices. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription at no extra cost.

11. Intellectual property

OffertEase and its logo, design and source code are owned by us and protected by copyright. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service in accordance with these terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute or decompile the service software.

12. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of data. Our total liability to you will never exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

13. Personal data

The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes shall primarily be resolved through negotiation. If the parties cannot reach an agreement, the dispute shall be settled by the Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.

Sole traders who can be classified as consumers have the right to refer to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN).
